Today is the first day of #bloglikecrazy -- a one month challenge I'm launching to blog every day for 30 days.

I've tried projects like this before and failed, but since I'm leading this one I hope that will keep me motivated.

I'm not blogging like crazy this month simply for the sake of saying I posted daily for 30 days. I'm hoping that by the end of this month I will have more direction regarding what exactly I want to do with my blogging life.

For years I’ve stumbled through the blogosphere trying to find my way, trying to find the perfect way to use the web as a medium to express myself as a writer and build a platform as a feminist.

I began blogging for a weekly newspaper that I worked for in Louisville, Ky. I loved it so much that I started a personal blog of my own in the fall of 2008. While that blog had many followers and even had a few posts go viral, I always felt I made the mistake of trying to make that site everything to everyone and my original mission and message were diluted in the process.

Last year I started The Writeous Babe Project to be a blog about writing and through this blog I've produced what I consider some of my best online content. Still, I feel like something is missing because I want to blog about feminism and when I do it seems shoehorned in and out of place.

So I'm not really sure what to do, but I'm hoping that by November 30 I will have figured it out.

And if not, at least I'll be able to say I blogged every day for 30 days.
